i have a question for anyone who can help, mainly, is prinzmetals angina inherited??????My 35 year old daughter had chest pain to-day, which radiated from her chest ,through to her back , very painful and which didn't fully leave her for some time!
apparently, this has happened to her before, but she thought it was ....a pulled muscle......trapped nerve..... trapped wind, sound familiar?????
as i am a prinzmetal's sufferer myself, only fairly newly diagnosed (see past posts),i am now seriously wondering if it is indeed inherited.anyone know?
my daughter is a person who seriously understate any health problems, hers or anyone elses, so i must take her seriously on this.she insists that she's fine, as we all do at times!help anyone.
I was diagnosed with prinzmetals nine days ago and like you was also worried that i may have passed this along to one of my three sons. My doctor assured me that prinzmetals is not hereditary but, listening to your daughter's symptoms- she might need to get checked which we all know involves provoking the beast under the watchful eye of a medical team. this is my opinion from a 32 year old male with prinzmetals i've got a lot to learn

Joan, I have myocardial bridging. It is where a coronary artery is under the heart muscle instead of on top. Issue is can be squeezed and feel like a heart attack or is you CAD, can be serious. Usu
